If anyone knows and understands the pain of uncontrolled anger, it is Kenneth Nathan. The youngest son of a migrant family from India, Ken experienced a traumatic childhood, complete with destructive behaviours and uncontrollable aggression. With the help of education and mentors, Ken was able to transform his negative behaviours into positive, healthy patterns of expression. Today he uses his experience, knowledge, and passion to help young people overcome similar struggles.
Ken was recently awarded the ACAMH 2025 David Cottrell “Education of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Professionals” Award. The Association for Child and Mental Health is a UK based charity that aims to raise standards in the understanding and management of child mental health issues. Their membership comprises a diverse group of clinicians, practitioners and world-leading child mental health researchers, working across an array of child and adolescent mental health domains.
